Scottsdale Fashion Square will add one more jewel to its crown of super high-end luxury retail stores on Oct. 15 when Arizona's first Barneys New York opens.
"It's actually going to be opening at 10:15 a.m. on 10/15/09," said Jan Bracamonte, director of public relations at Scottsdale-based Crosby/Wright, a marketing firm catering to luxury retailers and brands. The mall opens at 9 a.m.
Steve Helm, property manager at Scottsdale Fashion Square, said a number of other retailers and restaurants also will open near Barneys on Oct. 15, including True Religion, Ed Hardy, Michael Stars, Forever 21, Marcella's Ristorante and Modern, which is a new steak and fish restaurant from Scottsdale-based FOX Restaurant Concepts.
