Don Jose Mexican Food was a restaurant that families had enjoyed old school Sonoran Mexican food at since 1966. The place closed & sat vacant for the past three years- but as of last week, it's back in action. It's been brought back to life by two longtime fans who bought the concept and recipes, and left everything else the way it's always been.
Don Jose is open daily, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., at 3734 E. Thomas Rd.
