A Woman Led the Expedition is an event to highlight the absence of women of color in the art world, by celebrating the young women of color living and creating here in the Phoenix area. The wealth of talent that we have here in our local community is overwhelming, however there are few spaces showcasing women's art -- especially the art of women of color. So in partnership with Phoenix's Historic Bar & Gallery The LOST LEAF... a collective of Phoenix women of color have come together to present to you an event filled with art, music, poetry, monologues, etc.
